POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator who has a passion for relationship management and is keen
to ensure the right advertising solution is provided to our clients in order to achieve their marketing objectives.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional team player and be confident making outbound calls to existing
advertising clients and new leads. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the advertising sales
across both print and digital assets to achieve revenue targets and KPI outcomes.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Reports to: Marketing Manager
Department: Digital, Marketing & Ticketing

Internal Liaisons: Director & CEO, Executive Directors, Heads of Department, Marketing Coordinators,
Design Studio, Partnership Account Managers, Production Manager, Artist & Venues
team, Finance team, Ticketing team and any other Adelaide Fringe staff as required
External Liaisons: Adelaide Fringe advertising prospects and clients including artists, venues, partners,
agencies and external stakeholders, Adelaide Fringe corporate partners, government
bodies, local businesses, corporate membership groups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, implement and deliver the advertising sales strategy including setting price structures in line with
industry rates
• Oversee the creation of the advertising sales kit in liaison with the design team
• Coordinate inventory of advertising sales products for purchase on the AVR platform
• Liaise with Adelaide Fringe advertising clients and consult on suitable products to suit their needs
• Pioneer lead generation to meet sales KPIs
• Process and track client bookings from initial enquiry, to completed booking form, invoicing, payment,
proofing, delivery of advertising and reporting
• Consolidate AVR Bookings with income tracking sheet
• Follow the correct process for data management and maintain all related data using internal systems
• Provide sales-based updates and reports regularly and as requested by the Leadership team
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery
of advertising campaigns for clients
• Supply, save and review artwork specifications and examples and provide feedback and examples to
artists when artwork does not suitably meet guidelines
• Coordinate, schedule, and ensure proofing and placement of the Adelaide Fringe’s advertising within
internally produced collateral
• Liaise with the marketing team to ensure advertising delivery in EDMs, printed guides and the website
• Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure advertising delivery on social media and digital screens
• Proactively communicate and follow up with artists to ensure delivery of artwork within set deadlines
• Complete invoice requests and liaise with the finance team to follow up overdue invoices
• Follow the correct process for data management and maintain all related data using internal systems
• Provide sales-based updates and reports regularly and as requested by the Leadership team
• Provide clients with requested items such as advertising results and proof of placement
• Understand and comply with all Adelaide Fringe policies, procedures and requirement

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Confident phone manner, capable of pitching marketing products and a likeable outgoing personality
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• High level attention to detail and organisation skills
• Resilient with a goal-oriented drive to find the best outcome for stakeholders
• Ability to build a rapport with a broad range of clients including artists, agents, not for profits and
corporates
• Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines
• Ability to implement and maintain efficient and effective records management systems
• Flexible and willing to assist with other duties and responsibilities as required
DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Tele-sales, call centre, face to face sales or fundraising experience will be highly regarded
• Experience maintaining and updating a CRM such as Salesforce will be highly regarded
• Tertiary or similar qualifications in marketing or a related field
• Sound knowledge in Meta advertising
• Experience in using and reporting via Google Analytics
• A strong marketing knowledge, with arts or events experience will be looked on favourably.
