We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with specific experience in Workforce Management and HR Information Systems applications to join our growing Information Technology Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide to work on an organisation wide System Implementation Project.

Role Overview

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering the HRIS and Workforce Management system implementation. This will include managing the scope, timeline, and budget. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages IT resources, and communicates with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The Project Manager is also responsible for a small team of direct reports. We are looking for someone with experience in planning and implementing time and attendance, rostering, absence and compensation management systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, project plans, schedules budgets and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, team members, and senior leadership
Lead the project team in executing tasks according to the project plan. Monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and proactively manage risks to ensure successful project completion
Establish and lead project governance systems and processes to facilitate proper reporting to senior stakeholders such as the Project Sponsor
Facilitate clear and timely communication among project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, project reports, and presentations as required
Identify and manage project scope changes, assess their potential impact on timelines and budgets, and communicate these changes to stakeholders
Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential negative impacts on the project.
 

About you

Your skills and experience will include;

 

Previous experience in successfully delivering complex IT initiatives, with a strong track record in workforce management system implementation and/or major HRIS such as SAP, Success Factors or Workday
Knowledge or previous experience implementing the “NIMBUS” or similar workforce management system will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies, software, tools, and best practices, with a specific emphasis on workforce management
Advanced leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
