As part of a newly launched campaign, South Australia Police (SAPOL) is welcoming more than 300 recruits a year over the next three financial years to the blue team.

In the life of a police officer, no two days are the same. You must be able to deal with the unexpected as you face a variety of tasks – from interacting with the community and basic reporting to handling sometimes challenging situations.
That’s why we look for specific skills and qualities in all our candidates. You’ll need to meet SA Police’s eligibility criteria and undergo a ecruitment process to determine whether you’re right for the job. If we offer you a role, you’ll begin training, during which we’ll pay you while you develop the skills you’ll need to be an officer.
To begin this journey, the only requirement is for applicants to be at least 18 years of age and be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or have Permanent Residency.
