Since the release of Chat GPT in November 2022, the tool has been used to write essays, books, songs and more for people all over the world. The speedy release of intelligent AI has posed real threats to over 300 million full-time jobs worldwide, seriously disrupting the job market. The reason Chat GPT has reached this level of success and recognition globally is because of its easy access and accurate results based on the questions it is asked.

However, experts are reporting that, although this new technology is impressive, it lacks a human touch and a full AI takeover is unlikely in the near future. "There's a saying that an infinite number of monkeys will eventually give you Shakespeare," stated law professor Matthew Sag. "There's a large number of monkeys here, giving you things that are impressive — but there is intrinsically a difference between the way that humans produce language and the way that large language models do it".

Users have found limitations within the software as the bot has been caught generating misinformation, incorrectly answering coding problems and has produced errors in simple math.

Despite the limitations in the current software model, there is potential for these types of AI to grow and pose a threat to the job market as it develops.
