Dan Murphy’s, which is looking for upwards of 2200 jobs to solve the worker shortage issue across the new year, is implementing the rapid recruitment method starting today and going through to Sunday, September 11th across every single store within the country, with South Australia amongst the bunch.

“Just come as you are and our commitment to every applicant is that we will give you a short interview on the spot,” said Dan Murphy’s incoming managing director Agi Pfeiffer-Smith, who was intensely eager to get the hiring process under way.

Dan Murphy’s joins the ever-growing list of retail giants in Australia seeking employment amongst the tightest labour market Australia has seen in many years, with the Albanese government pledging to increase the permanent overseas migration intake by 20 per cent, from 160,000 to 195,000, as one of 36 initiatives to boost the Australian workforce.

In order to attract the appropriate number across the country – which includes 140 in South Australia - the drinks retailer is offering to pay for training and the cost of acquiring RSA certifications, showing their dedication to filling out required roles within the businesses across Australia.

Dan Murphy’s is owned by Endeavour Group, which also owns BWS and ALH Hotels.
