Cost of living pressures makes everyday and necessary expenses…expensive! As inflation rises, so does the price of food, rent, energy, water and other living essentials. Additionally, with the unemployment rate rising to 3.7% last quarter, these costs are getting bigger for the everyday Australian.

A survey conducted out of 1078 people showed that 7% of respondents revealed they have taken up the additional responsibility of another job to survive. This is equivalent to 1.4 million workers.

Inflation and the growing burden of living expenses are evidently causing problems for the everyday Australian, and are making it difficult for them to make ends meet, without the presence of extra income.
