“Although I enjoyed some of the work, I found that I wasn’t being challenged. I love hands-on practical work with problem-solving and tangible outcomes,” said Shauna.

When COVID restrictions started to ease, she decided to explore her options to see if she could find a role that would suit her goals and personality. Shauna started to talk to her friends, and they introduced her to Apprenticeships.

“Shauna has been an asset to the company. She is willing to work hard and has fitted in well with the team,” said Michael Potter, Site Manager at SA Water.
