CMAX are one of the largest organisations specialising in Phase 1 clinical trials focusing on testing the safety and efficacy of phase 1 drugs for the public. A leader in shaping the upcoming pharmaceutical development of clinical treatments, CMAX has paved the way for easily accessible and effective medicine to customers in need.
The Business Development team looks at engaging with biotech and pharmaceutical companies to cooperate in the production of medicine, equipment costs, protocols and methods. They have undertaken breakthrough trials leading to marketable arthritis and UTI treatments, as well as well-known cold and flu medicines to name a few.
CMAX are currently on the hunt for an Administration Assistant to be part of the BD team, which consists of getting involved with the participants and includes benefits like maternity leave, however, doctors and nurses are highly sought after too!
Christopher tells us that the best part about working for CMAX is the positive team environment and the fact that the work is genuinely interesting. He gets to create valuable contributions, for instance, involvement in their respiratory disease study at the moment which allows CMAX to work side by side with a start-up company whose incentive is very personal.
"It's great to play a small part in helping them save lives", says Christopher.
During their trials, CMAX have quiet rooms to optimize EEG studies, and accommodate for their participants, with many people playing video games, reading, and watching Netflix. PLUS, participants really look forward to the lasagna on the first night, Christopher mentions.
